Pysical Education

We love our sport at Fishy and are very proud of our achievements. In addition to our weekly PE sessions our students are given opportunities to participate in inter-school sport including swimming, athletics, winter sport and the zone lightning premiership. Other features of our curriculum include competing with our Waratah Cluster teams and at divisional, regional and statewide sporting events.

Healthy Together Achievement Program

Healthy students learn better. The places where we live, learn, work and play can have a huge influence on our health and wellbeing. This includes our school where our children spend about one third of their day. The Healthy Together Achievement Program was jointly developed by the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health and Human Services. It is based on the World Health Organization’s health promoting schools model. It’s an overarching framework that provides a simple structure for coordinating an approach to support and improve health and wellbeing within a setting          - such as our school. Fish Creek and District Primary School is committing to participating in the Achievement Program and thus improving the health and wellbeing of our school community.
