This project aims to help us to:
Share the responsibility for literacy development Affirm you as the first and most important teacher Provide important information Develop home/school partnership
You are your child's first teacher. Time spent by you in the very early years will bring benefits for years to come. Play is enormously valuable developing the child in body and mind. Social contact with other children is very important in these days of small families. Be wary of too much television, even a computer engages your child in some interaction.
As you interact with your child you may wish to know more about how he or she is developing. You may like to have some ideas on how to make the most of your time together. Fish Creek and District Primary would like to help.
